Where an employer wishes to employ and apply for an employment license for a foreigner who is not a national of the EU, EEA or Switzerland in a highly-technical or managerial role under the key employee initiative (KEI) scheme, such an employer may apply for and make arrangements to enjoy the fast-tracked service provided by such scheme.
We are engaged by clients to collect and to prepare the necessary paperwork as well as to oversee the entire key employee initiative scheme process. An application can either be a new license or a renewal to an existing one.
If the employment does not meet the criteria under the key employee initiative scheme, the employer must instead apply for a regular employment license on behalf of the foreigner being recruited. More information can be found at the Application for Employment License page.
